Staff Interview- Rokodo

For those of you who don't know, Rokodo is responsible for the graphic design in Taiko Time blog! (well, the header and the background anyway)
Who are you and what are you doing here?
Boku wa Rokodo desu. I am a computer enthusiast and I moderate osu! in-game chat channels (IRC). Some people like to treat me as if I am a taiko-map-test-bot.
When did you start playing Taiko?
25th December 2007
What was your first console Taiko version?
Taiko no Tatsujin DS: Touch de Dokodon
What was your first Taiko arcade version?
-
What are the versions of Taiko you've played before then?
-
What's your favorite console/arcade version?
It's not about the version, it's about the maps! You can't possibly ask me to choose. :3c
What's your favorite control method?
osu! + TaikoJiro simulator: Computer keyboard, full alternation of four fingers. Index fingers for don and middle for ka(t).
DS: Two fingers of doom! Full alternation.
What about on the arcade?
-
How long do you usually play Taiko?
Assuming this poorly phrased question means "in one session", anywhere from 10 minutes to 6 hours.
What's your favorite genre?
Namco Original. It has the hardest maps. :3c
What's your favorite song and why?
Stardust Witch Meruru OP theme from Ore no Imōto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai - oh wait, that isn't on a Taiko game is it. -.-"
I like any song that has an 8+ star Oni map. High BPM and standard note scroll speed is welcome.
What's the song that gives you the most trouble?
That's a tough one. Rotter Tarmination Ura Oni on the basis I can't even read the last note stream. I hate those maps.
What's your least favorite song?
Anything that is still 3 stars or less when it is on Oni difficulty. v.v
Do you actually like any of the side modes/minigames in Taiko?
They can be pretty fun, but I play taiko for taiko. Not for the extras.
