Taiko no Tatsujin Plus / Tori Houdai / Taiko 3DS 2 - Donder! Japan Playoff cross-over!

Today's Taiko Team stream session just ended, but a few hours before its beginning, a new announcement has been made about the console-unrelated Taiko portable games, which also has made its way later in the streaming in a series of paper-printed images like the one above.

If some of the names shown above don't ring any bell, ... here is what's about: a huge shipment of CreoFuga-spawn Taiko creations!

Almost one year has passed since the last Taiko-related CreoFuga contest, but now most of the winning songs are going to be ported outside the arcade machines for the first time!

Both Taiko Plus and Taiko Tori Houdai players can play some of the winning tracks for free, but just for a limited time! From today until next Thursday (June 12), the song Eternal bond will be available for everyone to enjoy. The week later (June 13-19) it's time of Namco Original Bakemono Tsukiyo, while the week after (June 20-26) will be about Aisowarai. Play them before they disappear for good!

For Taiko Plus users only, today also marks the release of yet another song pack filled with CreoFuga-spawn Namco Originals, named the Donder! Japan Playoff Pack 1 (ドンだー!日本一決定戦ぱっく1). The songs being featured are the five Namco Original tunes which were previously released in the second batch of the Taiko tournament 2013's new song delivery schedule:
  • Yozakura Braiders
  • Tsundere Cafe e Youkoso☆
  • Oozora to Taiko no Odori
  • D's Adventure Note
  • DEBSTEP!
This song roster will make the console debut of (almost) every song from the first two tourney-releated song release batches, but what about the third one? The answer to this question has been supplied by the Taiko Team with today's stream...

That's right: the Namco Original song couple Hurtling Boys/Calculator and Vocaloid song Karamari no Hana will all be available to download for the incoming new Taiko 3DS videogame, right from the release day! The three songs are grouped into a single song pack, which can be purchased for 300 Yen + Taxes (324 Yen for Japan).

That's all for now, but stay tuned for a full coverage of today's Taiko Team stream!
