Taiko games are no stranger to create special campaigns tied in with popular Anime series, both internal and external to the Bandai animation division. However, today's newly-announced Anime collaboration ties in portable mobile/Apple devices together for the first time!
Known in Japan as Ansatsu Kyōshitsu (暗殺教室), Assassination Classroom is a recently-popular manga series made by Yusei Matsui (松井優征) which features the everyday events surrounding the class 3-E of the private Kunugigaoka Junior High School, where its students are secretely asked to kill the nick-named Korosensei (殺せんせー), a yellow alien who acts as one of their teachers and threatens to destroy our planet. With an animated series making its debut last Friday, Taiko games are making a 2-parter collaboration with this peculiar, manga-born story.
For Part 1 (which starts today!), both Taiko Plus and Taiko Tori Houdai players will be able to receive limited customization parts, starring the yellow Korosensei. Among these we have a 2-part outfit for both games and Taiko Plus-exclusive menu changes/custom wallpapers and Korosensei hitsounds, each of them available in the in-game lottery for a limited time.
